Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead store operations, drive sales growth, develop high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across our retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail store operations to ensure efficient workflow and achievement of business objectives
• Lead, coach, and motivate the retail team to meet sales targets, KPIs, and customer service standards
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve productivity, and maximise profitability
• Recruit, train, and evaluate retail staff to build a skilled and motivated team culture
• Prepare staff schedules and manage manpower planning to optimise store coverage
• Monitor sales performance and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review
• Deliver excellent customer service by resolving feedback and escalated issues professionally
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation, and housekeeping
• Manage inventory processes including stock replenishment, transfers, and accuracy control
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to execute promotions, product launches, and in-store events
• Monitor and control store expenses to optimise operating costs
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of retail experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Experience in beauty, cosmetics, luxury, fashion, or FMCG retail sectors
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing store performance
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
• Customer-focused with strong commercial awareness
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail POS/inventory management systems
• Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts
