Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Kulim. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and supporting revenue growth across key industry segments. Daily activities include market research, lead generation, customer outreach, preparation of proposals and quotations, and coordination of presentations and negotiations. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to tailor solutions, ensure feasibility of customer requirements, and support smooth project delivery. The Business Development Manager is also expected to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic planning and contribute to long-term business goals.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong business development, sales, and account management skills, with experience building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Candidates should possess skills in market analysis, lead generation, and opportunity assessment to support strategic growth initiatives.
• Candidates should possess effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at various levels.
• Candidates should possess basic technical understanding of manufacturing processes or engineering concepts to discuss high precision component requirements with customers.
• Candidates should possess organizational and project coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, with relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Ability to work on-site in Kulim, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and travel to meet customers as needed.
• Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Telecommunication, Test Instruments, Automotive, or Medical Devices is an advantage.
