Job Title: Herd & Health Manager

Job Description :

1. To ensure best practices in cattle dairy farming by adapting Good Animal Husbandry Practice to maximize production, optimize profit, consistent and ensure sustainability.
2. To manage specified dairy herd sustainable programs such as breeding, hoof care, calf rearing, feeds, and milking management.
3. Establish health checks and perform control and preventive medicine programmes on individual and herd animal.
4. Record keeping for all procedures and programs done on any animal in the herd population.
5. Provide monthly summary reports on treatments, programs, management parameters, and projections.
6. Ensures all husbandry equipment and working area are maintained and fully operational and inventory consumables are in stock.
7. Responsible for overseeing the quality, quantity and distribution of animal feed within livestock operation.
8. Responsible for managing any assigned projects designated by management.

Qualification :

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree of Animal Science/Animal Husbandry.
• Basic level of proficiency in using Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and new technologies in future.
• Training provided if necessary.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, in verbal and written for English and Bahasa Malaysia.
