This role is ideal for someone with 7-10+ years of experience in IT GRC, Technology Risk, IT Audit, or Information Security within the financial services industry who is ready to make a real impact.

What You'll Do

As our IT GRC Manager, you'll be at the heart of technology governance, operational resilience, and enterprise risk management.

You'll:

• Partner closely with the Cybersecurity Team to understand emerging threats, security controls, vulnerabilities, and remediation initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Business Continuity Management (BCM) team to strengthen organizational resilience and ensure critical business services remain available during disruptions.
• Lead and coordinate IT Disaster Recovery (DR) governance, including reviewing recovery strategies, participating in DR planning, overseeing recovery testing, validating Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), and driving continuous improvements to recovery readiness.
• Drive IT governance, technology risk, and compliance initiatives across the organization.
• Facilitate technology risk assessments and monitor key technology risks across business and IT functions.
• Translate technical risks into clear business insights for senior management and executive committees.
• Prepare high-quality governance dashboards, risk reports, and presentations for Group Management, Risk Committees, and Board meetings.
• Coordinate governance forums, ensuring decisions are documented, action items are tracked, and risk issues are escalated when necessary.
• Monitor regulatory developments, industry standards, and emerging technology risks to ensure the organization remains compliant and resilient.

Can work alongside BCM teams to ensure the organization is prepared for business disruptions and technology recovery.

Understand that Disaster Recovery is more than an annual exercise-it's about ensuring critical systems can recover when the unexpected happens.

Can communicate technology risks in business language that executives understand.

Are comfortable presenting to senior leadership, facilitating governance discussions, and influencing key decisions.

Believe governance should enable innovation while protecting the organization.

What You'll Bring

• 7-10+ years of experience in IT Governance, Technology Risk, IT GRC, IT Audit, Information Security, or Operational Resilience.
• Experience within banking, financial services, insurance, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • IT Governance & Technology Risk
  • Cybersecurity & Information Security
  • Business Continuity Management (BCM)
  • Disaster Recovery (DR) Planning & Testing
  • IT Controls & Risk Assessments
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Third-Party Technology Risk
  • IT Policies, Standards & Governance Frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience presenting to senior management, governance committees, or Board-level forums.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP, CISM, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
