PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Specialist Risk Group is seeking a Associate / Senior Associate, Benefits Solutions to support the delivery of high-quality employee benefits advice, servicing and programme management for clients across Singapore.


The role involves managing day-to-day client servicing, coordinating with insurers and internal stakeholders, supporting renewals and proposals, and ensuring accurate, timely and compliant delivery of employee benefits solutions. This position plays an important role in strengthening client relationships, improving service outcomes and supporting the continued growth of the Benefits Solutions business.

You are a client-focused and detail-oriented insurance professional with strong experience in employee benefits servicing, programme coordination and stakeholder management.


Your expertise in employee benefits, insurer coordination and client relationship management enables you to deliver practical solutions, manage priorities effectively and contribute confidently within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The key responsibilities for this role are:


  • Manage day-to-day client servicing activities for employee benefits accounts, ensuring timely responses, accurate follow-through and a high standard of service delivery.
  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of employee benefits programmes, including renewals, placements, implementation activities and ongoing policy administration.
  • Prepare and review client materials, including proposal documents, renewal summaries, benefit comparisons, insurer quotations and presentation packs.
  • Liaise with insurers, vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain quotations, clarify coverage terms, resolve servicing matters and ensure smooth execution of client deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation and internal reporting, ensuring information is complete, up to date and aligned with required standards.
  • Identify client needs and support the coordination of appropriate solutions across employee benefits and wider SRG service offerings where relevant.
  • Monitor servicing issues, claims or operational matters, escalating complex cases appropriately while ensuring clients are kept informed of progress and outcomes.
  • Contribute to process improvements, internal coordination and team projects to strengthen service efficiency, consistency and client experience.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for clients and internal teams, supporting alignment between client expectations, insurer requirements and business objectives.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years’ working experience in Insurance/ Broking Industry with a minimum of 2 years in Employee Benefits.
  • Strong domain knowledge of Compensation & Benefit practices is an advantage (employee benefits, health care management, flexible benefits)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, good interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Global mindset with experience in working with a team environment across borders.
  • Certificates in General Insurance and/or Life & Health Insurance is required.
  • Experience in account management, preferably in employee benefits or risk management, is a advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in global benefit financing strategies is a plus.
