Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet business objectives.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and procurement regulations.
• Resolve supplier performance issues, delivery delays, and quality concerns.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, production, and warehouse teams to forecast purchasing needs.
• Track procurement metrics and prepare purchasing reports.
• Lead, train, and supervise purchasing staff, where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3–7+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, including supervisory experience.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
