About Us
Masasinar Holdings Sdn Bhd is an automotive components manufacturing company specializing in metal stamping, welding and assembly processes. We are currently seeking an experienced Costing Engineer to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for automotive components based on engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
- Calculate the cost of raw materials, metal stamping, welding, assembly processes, machine hours, labour, tooling and overheads.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining product quality.
- Source and compare quotations from suppliers for materials, components and outsourced processes.
- Work closely with the Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and other teams to ensure accurate costing and timely quotation submission.
- Maintain accurate costing records, quotations and all related documents in an organized filing system.
- Monitor and analyze variances between estimated and actual production costs and recommend corrective actions.
- Support new product development by providing cost analysis and feasibility studies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Costing Engineer or related in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in metal stamping, welding and assembly processes is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:40 PM)
