Job Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product categories and liaise with suppliers on product sourcing, pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
• Negotiate costs, rebates, promotional support, and trading terms.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain business relationships.
• Select and curate products that meet customer needs and market trends.
• Ensure the right product mix across stores.
• Manage new product listings and discontinue slow-moving items.
• Develop pricing strategies to remain competitive.
• Plan and execute promotional activities, discounts, and seasonal campaigns.
• Monitor competitors' pricing and promotional activities.
• Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and minimize out-of-stock situations.
• Reduce excess inventory and product wastage.
• Develop category strategies to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Analyze category performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor product assortment and recommend additions or deletions.
• Other tasks as assigned by the line manager

Job Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, margin, inventory, and market data.
• Experience in supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Knowledge of assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
• Good understanding of consumer purchasing behavior and retail market trends.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-driven with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capabilities.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,800.00 per month
