WEEKEND EVENT PROMOTER

S$13.00 per hour

LOCATION
Islandwide / Serangoon

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Event Promoter, you will be the first point of contact for customers at promotional events. You will actively engage shoppers, introduce ongoing promotions, educate them on product features, and assist with simple sales registration through a mobile application. Full training will be provided prior to deployment.

WORKING DAYS

• Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Able to commit to assigned event dates

WORKINGHOURS

• 5-hour shift
• 4.00 pm – 9.00 pm or
• 4.30 pm – 9.30 pm
• First-time promoters are required to attend a 30-minute briefing before their first shift.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Proactively approach and engage customers at promotional booths.
• Introduce ongoing promotions and encourage customers to make a purchase.
• Explain product features and benefits to customers.
• Assist customers with registration and sign-up processes.
• Register completed sales using a mobile application.
• Maintain a positive and professional image while representing the brand.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Singapore Citizen orSingapore Permanent Resident.
• Friendly, outgoing andapproachable personality.
• Confident in interacting withmembers of the public.
• Good communication andinterpersonal skills.
• Comfortable approaching andengaging strangers.
• Able to work independentlyand as part of a team.
• Prior retail, sales or event promotion experience will be an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to converse in Hindi or Tamil will be an added advantage due to business needs, as the role may require serving customers who communicate primarily in these languages.

TRAINING

Comprehensive training will be provided on:

• Product knowledge
• Promotional campaign
• Customer engagement techniques
• Mobile sales registration process
• The registration process is simple and typically takes less than five minutes to complete.

ATTIRE

• Plain white round-neck T-shirt
• Black long pants
• Covered shoes

• S$13.00 per hour
• Opportunities for recurring weekend assignments
