Job Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical, reliability, and product testing in accordance with established procedures and international standards
- Develop test procedures, analyze test results, and prepare technical reports.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Perform static and dynamic measurements, fatigue testing, and failure analysis.
- Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment, including Instron/MTS systems and precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure laboratory activities comply with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and applicable international standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in laboratory testing, product validation, or a similar engineering environment.
- Good knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and international testing standards such as ISO, ASTM, SAE, and JIS.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, SPC, MSA (GR&R), test method development, and technical calculations.
- Hands-on experience with fatigue testing, physical and mechanical rubber property testing, and servo-hydraulic testing systems (e.g. Instron or MTS).
- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as CMM, profile projector, microscope, calipers, and AutoCAD or equivalent 2D/3D design software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
