Job Summary

Support accounting operations by processing payment transactions, resolving discrepancies, assisting month-end closing, and maintaining accurate accounts payable and receivable records.

Responsibilities

• Provide backup support to the Account Manager for clerical tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist in completing month-end closing procedures accurately and on time
• Support various accounting projects by performing assigned tasks to meet project goals
• Process a high volume of payment transactions efficiently and accurately
• Independently research and resolve payment discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable aging reports and track days sales outstanding to support cash flow management
• Obtain and email invoice copies and statements to customers promptly upon request
• Match invoices against purchase orders and investigate any price or quantity discrepancies with the purchasing department for resolution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Singaporean or Permanent Resident status.
