Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, and highly organized Student Service Coordinator to provide exceptional support to international students throughout their study journey in Malaysia. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and ensuring students have a smooth and positive experience from arrival through graduation.

The successful candidate will coordinate student services, assist with arrivals, accommodation, orientation, university registration, visa-related matters, and student welfare while working closely with universities and internal teams. The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and a student-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support international students from pre-arrival through graduation.
• Arrange airport pickups, temporary accommodation, and arrival logistics.
• Assist students with university registration, medical screening, visa documentation, and immigration-related processes.
• Conduct student orientations and provide guidance on living and studying in Malaysia.
• Respond promptly to student enquiries via email, phone, WhatsApp, and in person.
• Liaise with universities, accommodation providers, government agencies, and service partners to ensure smooth student support.
• Monitor student welfare and provide appropriate assistance or referrals when needed.
• Maintain accurate student records, service reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate student activities, workshops, and engagement programs to enhance the student experience.
• Work closely with the admissions, visa, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle urgent student matters professionally and efficiently.
• Travel within Malaysia to support students and university-related activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Hospitality, Communications, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and able to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional language is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and abroad.
• Previous experience in student services, customer service, education, hospitality, or administrative support is an advantage but not mandatory.
