Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily burn-in operations and provide equipment support for testing.
- Operate and support Soak Test, Module Burn-In (Module BI), TC BERT, SHTOL, Temperature Cycling, Roadm, Temp Cycling and Traffic Test and processes.
- Operate, monitor, inspect, and perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance (PM) on burn-in chambers, ovens, and test equipment.
- Perform routine PM, basic repairs, and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Troubleshoot daily equipment and process issues, recover test interruptions, and escalate major problems when required.
- Support WIP movement, meet production schedules, and ensure on-time completion of reliability testing.
- Support engineering evaluation lots and reliability testing requested by Reliability (REL), Process Engineering (PE), and T&D teams.
- Record production and maintenance data, equipment status, downtime, and prepare/send daily operation reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve equipment performance, test efficiency, and reduce downtime.
- Assist with equipment installation, setup, qualification (buy-off) and validation activities.
- Follow work instructions, SOPs, and participate in required technical and safety training.
- Perform assigned tasks, report safety, quality, or equipment issues, and escalate abnormalities to the supervisor or engineer.
Job Requirements:
Education: Diploma of Science/Engineering in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering/Computer Science
Experience: At least 1 yr of Equipment Maintenance/Testing experience & testing methodologies. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.
Special Skills:
- With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data. Strong interest in computer hardware engineering.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting a wide range of desktop software and components.
- Experience in equipment's Total Control Methodology.
