Role Description The Graduate Student Research Assistant role at Atlas Workspace is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The assistant will support ongoing research projects by gathering, organizing, and synthesizing academic and technical literature, and by using Atlas tools to build and refine knowledge maps and citation networks. Day-to-day tasks include conducting structured research, performing data collection and preliminary analysis, preparing summaries and reports, and assisting in the design and documentation of research workflows. The role also involves collaborating with team members, communicating findings clearly, and contributing feedback to improve the usability and effectiveness of the Atlas platform for researchers.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Research and Analytical Skills for conducting literature reviews, structuring inquiries, and interpreting complex information.
• Candidates should possess solid Data Analysis abilities, including basic statistical reasoning and familiarity with quantitative or qualitative analysis tools.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for presenting findings, writing clear summaries, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills if working with experimental data or lab-based research workflows.
• Candidates should ideally be enrolled in or have recently completed a graduate program in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information science, social sciences, or STEM disciplines).
• Candidates should be comfortable learning new digital tools, have strong organizational skills, and demonstrate attention to detail and research integrity.
• Experience with knowledge management systems, data visualization, or research software (e.g., reference managers, statistical packages) is beneficial.
