About the Company
Heroes of Digital is a performance marketing agency. Our Creative Studio doesn't make content in a vacuum, every video and photo we produce is built from a strategist's brief and judged on how it performs across paid and organic social.
About the Role
This role sits inside that studio, working alongside our Creative Strategy and Design teams to turn data-informed briefs into content that converts.
Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit to brief, turning direction from our Creative Strategy team into video and photo content built for paid and organic social performance, not just visual polish.
- Deliver across formats – Reels, native social ads, brand video, photography – hitting a consistent monthly output without compromising on quality.
- Start thinking in performance. You won't own the data on day one, but you'll be shown how your content is performing, and you'll be expected to bring that thinking into your next edit: what hook worked, what pacing held attention, what didn't land.
- Track your own work in *************, keeping status and turnaround visible without needing to be chased.
- Work closely with Strategy and Design on every brief, and start speaking up when you spot a way to make the next one better.
- Keep learning. Stay current on platform trends, new tools and techniques, and bring them into your own work.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years' experience in video production, with a portfolio showing you can shoot and edit, not just edit found footage.
- A relevant diploma or degree in film, media or a related field.
Required Skills
- Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom; After Effects or Photoshop a plus.
- Comfortable behind the camera as well as in the edit: basic lighting and framing, not just post-production.
- Curious about performance. You want to understand why a video works, not just how it looks, and you're open to adapting your creative based on feedback and data, not just gut feel.
- Reliable ownership. You track your own tasks, flag blockers early, and don't need chasing to hit deadlines.
- An eye for detail and a genuine discomfort with sending out anything less than your best work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience shooting corporate, event and social media content across multiple industries.
- Confident operating photo/video equipment: strobes, gimbals, multi-cam setups.
- Well-versed in using AI tools within your production and editing workflow, to speed up ideation, editing or asset variation, and keen to keep exploring what's next.
