Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue Verification: Audit daily hotel room revenue reports for accuracy and consistency with system records.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile daily sales, cash, credit card transactions, and bank deposits.
• Documentation: Review guest folios, rebates, and voids to ensure proper authorization and supporting documentation.
• Reporting: Prepare the Daily Sales Journal, Daily Operational Package, and other financial reports for management review.
• Internal Controls: Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies, variances, or potential fraudulent activities.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to established accounting procedures and internal control policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 1- 2 years of experience in income auditing or hotel accounting.
• Proficiency in hotel software (e.g.; IFCA software, SQL accounting systems)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict daily deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
