We're Hiring: Resident OT Cybersecurity Engineer (Singapore)

MTechnix Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a motivated Resident OT Cybersecurity Engineer to support a major offshore energy new-build project in Singapore.

This is an excellent opportunity for cybersecurity professionals who want to build their expertise in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and IEC 62443 while working on a large-scale offshore energy project.

Singapore (Employment Pass sponsored)

Contract Duration

18 months (with potential opportunities for future regional projects)

Key Responsibilities

-Perform OT cybersecurity verification and compliance activities in accordance with IEC 62443 requirements.

-Review technical documentation and maintain verification records.

-Witness factory and site testing activities and collect supporting evidence.

-Track and follow up on punch list items until closure.

-Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity requirements are fulfilled.

-Prepare clear and accurate technical documentation and assessment records.

Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

-2–5 years of experience in OT/ICS, industrial automation, or industrial field environments.

-Experience in oil & gas, offshore, or process industries is highly preferred.

-Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including switching and firewalls.

-Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU (knowledge of IEC 61850 is an advantage).

-Strong documentation and reporting skills.

-Willing to be based full-time in Singapore throughout the project duration.
