Design things people actually see

Most design internships end with a folder of work nobody used.

At Vibefam, the ad you design on Monday is running by Tuesday. The poster you make this week shows up in front of someone deciding whether to launch a yoga class in Texas. The ad visual you mock up is what a Pilates studio owner in Singapore taps at 6pm.

We build the software that boutique fitness studios run on: yoga, Pilates, barre, boxing, dance, martial arts. 700+ studios across 26 countries use us to handle their classes, memberships, payments and members, so they can get back to teaching instead of drowning in admin.

We're global - but we run lean. Lean enough that you can genuinely change what the company looks like to the world. That's the job.

What you'll actually do

  • Design ads. This is the biggest chunk. Static visuals, different hooks, different audiences, different markets. You'll learn fast which ideas work, because we'll show you the numbers.
  • Edit video. Short-form cuts for ads and social. Testimonials, product clips, quick explainers. If you can make a 15-second cut that holds attention, that skill is worth a lot here.
  • Social and email visuals. Posts, carousels, email headers, the things that keep our brand looking like one brand.
  • Landing page and web assets. Visuals for the pages people land on before they try us out.
  • Try new tools, design new workflows and tell us what's good. We genuinely want to know.

You won't do all of this on day one. We'll start you where you're strongest and grow the rest.

Design with AI, not against it

This is a real part of the role, so we'll be upfront about it.

We think AI is the most interesting thing to happen to design in a decade, and we want someone who feels the same. Not someone who outsources their taste to a prompt; someone who uses these tools to get from idea to finished work far faster than used to be possible, and still has the eye to know which version is actually good.

If you've been quietly playing with AI image and video tools and wondering where that's useful: it's useful here. You'll have room to experiment, and nobody telling you not to.

Who we think you are

  • You're in your final years of a design, multimedia, or visual communication course, or you've just graduated and want a real runway into a full-time role.
  • You can show us work. A portfolio, an Instagram, a Behance, a course project, a poster you made for your friend's event. We care about the eye, not the client list.
  • You're comfortable in most design tools, such as Canva and CapCut, or you can be within a week. That's our current stack.
  • You're curious about AI tools and happy to make them part of how you work.
  • You understand that every good visual has a job to do. An ad needs one clear hook, not every feature squeezed into one frame. If that idea makes sense to you, we'll get along.
  • You're based in KL, or can be.

You don't need: agency experience, a perfect portfolio, or a long list of software. We've hired people with none of that and they’ve done some of our best work.

What you get out of it

  • Direct mentorship. You'll work closely with our GTM lead, not three layers below someone. You'll sit in on the strategy, see why we're making a visual before you make it, and get real feedback on your work.
  • Speed. Your work ships. No six-week approval chains.
  • A global audience. Studios in North America, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and more see what you make.
  • A real portfolio. Not mockups - campaigns with results you can take for the rest of your career.
  • A small, cross-border team. You'll work with our marketing team across Malaysia and Singapore. Flexible hours, no micromanaging. We care that the work is good and delivered, not that you were online at 9:01.
  • A path. If it works out on both sides, we'd love to bring you on full-time after your internship. (That's genuinely the plan, not a line in a job ad.)
