Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Maintenance Assistant di VAMP TECH Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

To strengthen our workforce at our Malaysian branch, we are looking for a MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT with the following characteristics:

Responsibility

• Perform daily routine inspections of factory equipment, machinery, tools and related facilities to identify potential faults, abnormalities or unsafe conditions
• Report immediately any equipment faults, machine breakdowns, safety risks or abnormal conditions to the superior
• Support troubleshooting, repair and maintenance activities on factory equipment and machinery, within the level of competence and under appropriate supervision
• Carry out periodic preventive maintenance tasks according to the planned maintenance schedule.
• Support the monitoring of work performed by external contractors, ensuring that activities are completed properly, safely and in line with company requirements
• Liaise with contractors, vendors and suppliers for installation, service, repair work and follow-up on machine, tooling and spare parts
• Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions immediately, in order to prevent injury, equipment damage or major operational impact
• Generate and update maintenance reports and filling of job-related documents

Qualification/experience

• Certificate in any mechatronic or any engineering field or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in manufacturing field

Skills

• Knowledge of machinery and equipment
• Knowledge of software – Autocad, Inventor etc. is an advantage
• Able to read Electrical and Mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in English language is mandatory

Compensation

The monthly gross salary range will be between MYR 2,200 and MYR 2,800, depending on the selected candidate's experiences, skills and level of autonomy.
