Project Manager – Power Utilities / Solar

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Project Manager to support the delivery of renewable energy projects across Malaysia and the wider APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects and emerging clean energy technologies.
• Perform energy yield assessments and technical evaluations for power utilities
• Support EPC tender preparation, technical evaluations, contract negotiations, and overall project development activities.
• Perform design reviews, construction monitoring, and technical supervision to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support lender's engineering assignments, including construction monitoring, operational reviews, and independent technical assessments.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Contribute to emerging energy transition initiatives, including energy storage, decarbonisation, green hydrogen, and other renewable energy projects where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline (master’s degree is an advantage).
• 10 years of experience in the power utilities or renewable energy sector.
• Strong project management and client-facing experience.
• Excellent technical report writing, presentation, and communication skills in English.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within multicultural project teams.
• Willingness to support regional projects and occasional travel across APAC.
