What The Day Will Look Like

• Own the platform vision and roadmap by defining and maintaining a clear roadmap for the Analytics Hub that translates business strategy and the needs of different product teams into a prioritized backlog of platform capabilities.
• Partner with product owners from different product teams to understand their use cases, platform needs and adoption challenges, and supporting onboarding to and ongoing use of the platform to ensure a consistent, easy platform experience.
• Translate requirements into technical deliverables by refining stakeholder requirements through preliminary analysis and shaping them into user stories and technical specifications in collaboration with engineering, data and architecture teams.
• Lead delivery and execution by managing the development, defining sprint goals and acceptance criteria, tracking delivery against the roadmap, and ensuring timely releases.
• Drive stakeholder communication and change management by acting as the central communication point between management, engineering team and platform users, providing regular updates on roadmap, priorities and delivery status to all stakeholders.
• Drive platform adoption and enablement by planning and delivering training and enablement for users when needed, ensuring effective use of platform capabilities, processes and systems, and using feedback and usage insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensuring risk, privacy and compliance of the platform by working with security, privacy and risk teams so that it meets Aon and regulatory requirements.
  
  

How This Opportunity Is Different

The Senior Technical Product Manager will lead an analytics platform, the Analytics Hub, working within the Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics (ACIA). This role owns the strategy, roadmap and delivery of the Analytics Hub, enabling different product teams within the organization to design, build and scale analytics‑driven solutions for clients and consultants.

The colleague will work closely with product owners, engineering, data science and global business stakeholders to understand their needs, prioritize the backlog, and ensure the platform is reliable, secure and easy to use.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in roles that span product management, analytics, data and technology
• Demonstrated ability to define product vision and roadmaps, manage backlogs and sprints in an agile environment, and deliver complex technical initiatives end‑to‑end.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and shape new business needs arising from different product teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills, with experience working across global, matrixed organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business‑friendly language.
• Solid understanding of project management processes and agile practices, with a track record of being organized, collaborative, results‑oriented and accountable.
• Comfortable working with SQL, Excel or Python for analysis and to collaborate effectively with data and engineering teams.
• Preferred previous experience as a product manager for a data, analytics or modern web application platform, including work on enterprise‑scale platforms and exposure to cloud‑hosted data and analytics tools (for example, modern data warehouses and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau).
