Job Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Automation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated systems, control equipment, and industrial machinery to ensure efficient and reliable operations. The role involves working with PLCs, sensors, motors, robotics, instrumentation, and electrical control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, sensors, drives, and instrumentation.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Support production teams in minimizing equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
- Assist in process improvement and automation projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
- Experience in industrial automation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLC programming & familiarity with HMI
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documentation.

Preferred Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience with robotics
Working Conditions
- Factory, plant, or industrial environment.
- May require shift work, overtime, or on-call support.
- Exposure to machinery, electrical systems, and production equipment.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
