About the Role

We are looking for an experienced TOSCA Automation Tester to join a banking technology project in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca, while supporting end-to-end quality assurance activities across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop reusable Tosca modules and maintain automation test suites.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform test execution, analyze results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage and track defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar platforms.
• Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other QA team members.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and release validation activities.
• Maintain test documentation, test evidence, and execution reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and QA processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca automation testing is highly preferred.
• Experience in developing and executing automated regression test suites.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with functional, regression, SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL/database validation is advantageous.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, ALM, or similar test/defect management tools.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or other automation tools would be an added advantage.
• Previous experience within banking or financial services projects is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
