Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Site Coordinator to manage site arrangements, documentation, and reporting across multiple mining sites. This role works closely with the Exploration Manager, occasionally traveling to different site locations, and based in the office when not on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all site arrangements across multiple mining locations, including logistics, accommodation, transportation, and scheduling for exploration activities.
- Prepare, compile, and maintain reports related to site operations and exploration progress across different sites.
- Accompany the Exploration Manager on site visits when required; manage office-based coordination tasks when not traveling.
- Maintain proper internal administrative documentation, including permits, licenses, contracts, and site records.
- Assist in organizing exploration-related technical documentation (e.g., drill logs, sampling reports, geological data) where applicable — advantageous but not mandatory.
- Organize and update filing systems (physical and digital) for easy retrieval of documents across multiple sites.
- Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and site personnel across various locations to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
- Assist in preparing basic geological spatial data, including KML files, for site planning and mapping purposes (if applicable).
- Support the Exploration Manager with administrative tasks, meeting arrangements, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting timelines across all managed sites.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Geology, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in site coordination, administration, or exploration support (mining industry experience is an advantage).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, able to manage arrangements for multiple sites simultaneously.
- Good documentation and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of geology and technical documentation (drill logs, sampling reports) is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., Google Earth, QGIS) and ability to create KML files is a plus.
- Willing to travel occasionally to different mining sites with the Exploration Manager.
- Good communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia and/or English).
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks across multiple sites, and proactively follow up on pending matters.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
