• Operate and monitor electrical systems including: Generators / alternators, Switchboards, DB panels, Motors, starters, Frequency Inverter
• Ensure stable power supply for all mill operations.
• Monitor load distribution and power consumption.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on: Electric motors, pumps, conveyors Control panels, sensors, instruments Mill quarters and effluent plant
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore operation quickly.
• Carry out insulation testing, continuity checks, and basic diagnostics.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with regulations by Energy Commission
• Malaysia.
• Must hold valid Chargeman Certificate (AO / A1 / A4 depending on mill capacity.
• Responsible as competent person for electrical installation.
• Prepare equipment for inspection and audits.
• Ensure electrical safety practices are followed: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Proper grounding and isolation, Prevent electrical hazards (shock, fire, short circuit), Ensure PPE usage and safe working procedures.
• To maintain generator sets (steam turbine / diesel genset).
• Synchronize generator with load demand with boilerman
• Install new electrical equipment and wiring.
• Modify control systems to improve efficiency.
• Assist in automation or upgrading works.
• Maintain electrical logbooks and maintenance records.
• Record power consumption, load data, and breakdown reports.
• Report major issues to Mill Engineer / Manager.
• Fully utilise MYALM application in daily basis.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
