Job Summary

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Massage Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic massage treatments that promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and enhance clients' overall wellbeing. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer care, maintains excellent hygiene standards, and delivers exceptional service while upholding the company's treatment protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Client Care

• Perform professional body massage treatments according to company standards and treatment protocols.
• Assess clients' needs, medical history, and treatment objectives before each session.
• Recommend appropriate massage techniques based on clients' conditions and preferences.
• Ensure clients are comfortable throughout the treatment and adjust pressure when necessary.
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness recommendations.

Treatment Delivery

• Perform a variety of massage therapies, including:Swedish MassageDeep Tissue MassageAromatherapy MassageLymphatic Drainage MassageSports Massage (where applicable)Hot Stone Massage (if trained)Pregnancy Massage (if certified)
• Maintain consistent treatment quality and customer satisfaction.

Customer Service

• Deliver a warm, professional, and personalised customer experience.
• Address customer enquiries and concerns promptly.
• Build long-term relationships with clients through excellent service.
• Encourage repeat visits by providing outstanding treatment experiences.

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms before and after every session.
• Sterilise equipment and replace linens according to company protocols.
• Adhere to workplace safety, infection control, and health regulations.
• Report equipment faults or safety concerns immediately.

Operational Support

• Prepare treatment rooms and supplies before appointments.
• Monitor inventory of oils, towels, consumables, and treatment products.
• Assist with housekeeping duties when required.
• Support reception or administrative duties during quieter periods.

Sales & Retail (if applicable)

• Recommend suitable wellness products or treatment packages based on clients' needs.
• Promote ongoing treatment plans ethically without high-pressure sales.
• Support outlet sales targets through excellent customer education and service. Many employers expect therapists to recommend appropriate products or packages as part of their role.
