Job Description

The Regional Specifications Manager drives product specifications for high-value projects across the hospitality, residential, and commercial property sectors. This role is responsible for securing product specifications at the early design stage by building strong relationships with international hotel groups, architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers. 

Strategic Relationship Management

• Build relationships with hotel groups, architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers.

• Identify specification opportunities by understanding customer needs and project pipelines.

• Engage key decision-makers to drive product specifications and provide technical support.

Specification Development

• Secure product specifications during early project stages.

• Deliver presentations, technical documents, samples, and mock-up support.

• Track specifications and maintain project records in Salesforce.

Regional & Local Market Collaboration

• Partner with country sales teams to transfer secured projects.

• Support local engagement and maintain specification integrity throughout project execution.

Tender & Project Support

• Support tender activities with technical documentation, certifications, and proposal materials.

Project & Pipeline Management

• Manage projects from specification through completion.

• Monitor project pipeline and maintain accurate Salesforce updates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Sales Support to drive project success, strengthen A&D engagement, and improve CRM reporting.

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute regional specification strategies aligned with business goals.

• Lead strategic account planning for key customers, including hotel groups, architects, and design firms.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and specification opportunities, providing regular business insights.

• Represent the company at industry events to strengthen brand presence and support thought leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in specification management, business development, sales, or project management within the construction or building materials industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership position.

• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM for project and customer relationship management..
