Job Description

We are looking to hire for the position of Paralegal / Legal Executive for a team who regularly serves enterprises and private clients, handling disputes, advisory, and transactional work, with sector and practice area focus in technology, finance, intellectual property, and employment.

The candidate will assist and provide a range of legal and administrative support to the team, including:

• Conducting legal research under the supervision of a lawyer
• Drafting correspondence to other law firms, parties, or the Courts
• Drafting, proofreading, and/or preparing legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, bundle of documents, bundle of authorities, etc
• Filing of court documents and conducting transactions on eLitigation, ICMS, and other electronic filing systems
• Co-ordinating administrative activities in relation to client matters

We are looking for someone with good character, high capacity, and is able to work collaboratively in the team. The successful candidate can look forward to working in a collegial team, intentional professional and practice development.

Requirements

• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and email software
• Skilled in use of legal research software/services
• Meticulous in management of deadlines and file administration
