1) Automation Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, and automation frameworks.
- Develop reusable automation components following software development best practices.
- Create self-service automation workflows for operational teams.
- Build automation solutions for:
o Network provisioning
o Configuration deployment
o Configuration backup
o OS upgrades
o Compliance validation
o Health checks
2) API & Integration Development
- Develop REST API integrations with network and infrastructure platforms.
- Build automated workflows triggered by ITSM or monitoring platforms.
- Integrate automation with:
o Network Platforms – Cisco, Huawei, Fortigate, Palo Alto, F5, Infoblox
o SolarWinds
o ITSM – HP Service Manager
o CyberArk
o Forward Network
3) Automation Platform Engineering
o Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
o Ansible Tower
- Configure inventories, credentials, job templates, execution environments, and automation controllers.
- Improve automation governance, RBAC, and operational standards.
- CI/CD & Software Engineering
- Implement DevOps and NetDevOps practices.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for automation code deployment.
- Maintain source code repositories and branching strategies.
- Perform code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
- Create automated testing and validation frameworks.
4) Compliance & Governance
- Support network compliance monitoring and automated validation.
- Develop automated audit and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure automation solutions comply with security and operational policies.
- Maintain technical documentation, standards, and automation governance.
5) Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Develop technical documentation and coding standards.
- Maintain automation libraries and repositories.
6) AIOps & Observability
- Support implementation of AIOps capabilities within the network operations environment.
- Integrate operational telemetry and monitoring data into observability platforms.
- Assist in event correlation and incident analysis initiatives.
- Develop automation workflows triggered by monitoring and alerting tools.
- Contribute to predictive capacity planning and performance analytics initiatives.
7) Operational Analytics
- Build dashboards and reports to provide operational insights.
- Analyze network performance trends and recurring incidents.
- Support the adoption of data-driven operational practices.
- Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams on operational intelligence initiatives.

Required Qualifications (Education)
- Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science / Information Technology / Related disciplines

Required Experience (Highly Preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining Ansible-based automation solutions in enterprise environments.
- Proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing automation workflows for infrastructure, network, or operational processes.
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting Ansible Core, or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, including scripting, API integration, data processing, and automation framework development.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party enterprise platforms.
- Experience developing and maintaining web-based portals, dashboards, or self-service automation platforms using modern web development technologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, including CI/CD practices for automation development.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, or NetDevOps methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop scalable and reusable automation solutions.
