Role Description The Senior Validation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bukit Mertajam. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and documenting validation activities for automation systems, manufacturing processes, and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing validation protocols and reports, performing functional verification and debugging of systems, and collaborating with design, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. The Senior Validation Engineer also reviews and improves validation methodologies, provides guidance to junior engineers, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency of automated solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong validation expertise, including Validation and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience.
- Technical skills in RTL Design and Functional Verification for automated or embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Debugging complex automation, control, or manufacturing systems.
- Experience with industrial automation, control systems, or smart manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and quality standards relevant to manufacturing and automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers is an advantage.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools, scripting, or test automation frameworks is beneficial.
