Operations Manager (Data Center)
Location: Sedenak, Johor
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a mission-critical data center. You will oversee critical facility operations, manage engineering teams, ensure 100% uptime of infrastructure, maintain compliance with operational standards, and drive continuous improvement across all facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage 24x7 critical facility operations and engineering teams.
- Ensure reliable operation of electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all critical infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with customer SLAs, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage incident, problem, and change management processes, including LOTO procedures.
- Develop, review, and implement MOP, SOP, and EOP documentation.
- Monitor facility performance, capacity planning, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
- Lead command center operations and ensure timely incident escalation and reporting.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and operational best practices.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to engineering teams.
- Be available for emergency response and 24x7 on-call support when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facility Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Center or Critical Facility Operations.
- Hands-on experience managing electrical, mechanical, cooling, and critical infrastructure systems.
- Experience with Liquid Cooling systems is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of BMS, CMMS/DCIM, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.
- Experience in Change Management, Incident Management, MOP, SOP, EOP, and LOTO processes.
- CDCP or CDFOM certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage mission-critical operations.

Pay: RM14,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
