Are you passionate about building high-performance, low-latency trading systems? We're looking for an experienced C++ Trading Application Developer to design, develop, and optimize mission-critical trading applications that power real-time financial markets.

In this role, you'll work with modern C++ technologies while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to build scalable, reliable, and ultra-low latency trading solutions. You'll also have opportunities to work with technologies such as Golang and Rust while contributing to system architecture, performance optimization, and trading infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing low-latency C++ applications, preferably within trading, financial technology, or capital markets.
• Strong proficiency in Modern C++ (C++11/14).
• Excellent understanding of STL, Boost, template programming, and object-oriented programming.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, shared memory, and low-level system programming.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, socket programming, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Redis or similar in-memory databases.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and reactive programming.
• Exposure to Golang and Rust is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience with:

• Trading systems or capital markets
• Exchange connectivity
• FIX Protocol
• ITCH, OUCH, or PITCH protocols
• Order Management Systems (OMS)
• Smart Order Routing (SOR)
• Performance tuning and lock-free programming

ResponsibilitiesTrading System Development

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading applications using C++.
• Build scalable, reliable, and low-latency backend components.
• Implement clean, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Contribute to distributed system architecture and real-time data processing solutions.

Performance Optimisation

• Analyse and optimise application performance for low-latency environments.
• Improve multithreading efficiency, memory usage, and overall system responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues through debugging and root cause analysis.
• Support system reliability, scalability, and security improvements.

Collaboration & Engineering Excellence

• Collaborate with software engineers, stakeholders, and business teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated testing to improve software quality.
• Support production systems by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving live issues.
