DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Nursing Leadership and Management

· Play a leading role as a resource person in an effective way of managing the Nursing Department.

· Lead and manage the day to day operations of Nursing Department.

2. Manpower Management and Development

· Plan an effective and efficient manpower planning in accordance to the MOH guidelines and standards.

· Plan proper scheduling based on the staff grades, skill mix and competencies.

· Motivate, develop, train and continuous upgrade the skills and knowledge of care staff.

3. Resource Management

· Responsible for proper management of resources which is cost effective, meet quality and productivity.

· Evaluate the effective and efficient use of consumables, supplies, dressing materials and diapers.

· Maintain and upkeep a proper inventory control with regular inspection and audits.

4. Clinical Nursing Quality and Safety

· Lead the team in delivering consistent and excellent clinical and service quality to residents and sponsors.

· Responsible for the clinical quality of all residents guided by the set 4 Zeros clinical indicators - Zero Falls, Zero Medication Errors, Zero Nursing Home Acquired Pressure Ulcers and Zero Nursing Home acquired infection.

· Provide adequate supervision of all staff in carrying out their responsibilities in accordance with MOH guidelines, protocols and standards operating procedures.

· Initiate, lead and implement quality improvement projects in Nursing Department.

5. Centre Operations

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow of Nursing Department.

· Work closely with operations colleagues to upkeep and maintain the building facilities and equipment including facilitate in resolving facility issues.

6. Feedback Management

· Investigate and resolve all feedback and complaints received from sponsors and residents.

· Assist in any investigation that is escalated to HQ.

· Escalate any unfavourable and unresolved feedback to HQ

7. Other Duties

· Assume any other additional responsibilities as assigned by Country Director/Centre Manager.

· Provide coaching, training and counselling of staff.

· Perform annual appraisal for all staff.

· Provide timely submissions of appropriate report to the respective departments

· Maintain good communication skills with residents and sponsors.

· To ensure submission of the Nursing periodical report to update management on the overall Nursing Department and enhancement required from time to time based on the compiled data.

· To ensure that we comply with all the requirements of the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and facilitate the license renewal process.

· To ensure cleanliness of all wards as per Group established hygiene standard.

· Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
