In this role, you'll design and enhance automation frameworks, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, mentor team members, and leverage modern technologies—including AI-assisted testing—to improve software quality and delivery speed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on QA Automation experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience using BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Strong API automation testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience implementing test data management strategies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD quality gates and automation metrics.
• Excellent analytical, communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.

ResponsibilitiesTest Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and database validation.
• Develop Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios, Gherkin feature files, and reusable step definitions.
• Improve automation coverage, execution speed, and overall testing reliability.

CI/CD & Quality Engineering

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support regression, smoke, and quality gate automation strategies.
• Implement test data management and cross-layer validation approaches.
• Monitor automation performance and continuously improve framework stability.

API & Platform Testing

• Drive API automation and backend validation.
• Support database verification and end-to-end system testing.
• Analyse and resolve flaky tests while improving automation reliability.
• Identify quality risks and recommend practical solutions.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct code reviews and automation framework reviews.
• Mentor QA team members on automation standards and best practices.
• Promote AI-assisted quality engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain automation documentation, reporting, and quality dashboards.
