Job Summary
Interior Designer - BIM knowledge is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end design delivery — from concept development to detailed design and construction documentation. This role requires a balance of creative innovation, strong technical competency (including BIM proficiency), and client-facing confidence to deliver high-quality interior environments across commercial and corporate projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop design concepts, space planning, and material selection for multiple projects concurrently.
- Translate design intent into detailed construction drawings and documentation using BIM (Revit) and other design software.
- Independently produce, manage, and coordinate BIM models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and company standards.
- Conduct site studies, design presentations, and client briefings to align creative direction with project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Prepare and review all tender, construction, and as-built drawings to ensure alignment with design intent and regulatory requirements.
- Provide mentorship and design guidance to junior designers, ensuring consistent design quality across the team.
- Oversee selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings; maintain and update the material library.
- Participate actively in client and consultant meetings, articulating design concepts and resolving technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and building code requirements.
- Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure design quality, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with emerging design trends, BIM advancements, and sustainable design practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of interior design experience, with strong exposure to corporate, commercial, and workplace projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (BIM) — able to create, manage, and coordinate BIM models independently.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept-to-construction design capability.
- Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines with attention to detail and design quality.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; confident in client engagement.
- Strong technical understanding of detailing, material applications, and construction methodologies.
- Knowledge of local regulations, building codes, and submission procedures.
- Creative, proactive, and collaborative, with leadership potential to grow into a management role.
- Open to Singapore Citizens only.
- Must be able to work on-site at client locations or at the office as required (within Singapore).
- Submission of portfolio and BIM (Revit) work samples is mandatory for consideration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
