Role Description The Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Bahru, supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of oil-free chiller and control systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and executing repairs to ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment. The role involves field service visits to customer sites, conducting system checks, documenting work performed, and providing clear technical reports. The Service Technician will collaborate with engineering and support teams, assist with warranty and spare parts coordination, and deliver professional, respectful customer service during all interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for HVAC, chiller, or similar mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex control and mechanical issues, including diagnosing faults and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience in Field Service work, including on-site diagnostics, repairs, and system commissioning.
• Effective Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and manage expectations.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Comfort with using diagnostic tools, basic test equipment, and digital service reporting systems.
• Willingness to work on-site at customer facilities, occasionally outside standard hours, and to follow safety and compliance requirements.
