Main Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Solution Consulting

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, engaging customers to understand their business objectives, operational challenges, and technical requirements.
• Design end-to-end networking and cybersecurity solutions leveraging primarily the Juniper Networks portfolio, and where applicable, HPE Aruba Networking and other complementary technologies.
• Develop solution architectures covering campus, branch, data centre, WAN, SD-WAN, service provider, cloud connectivity, and network security.
• Conduct customer requirement workshops, technical design/product presentations, solution demonstrations, architecture reviews, Proof-of-Concept (PoC), and technical validation sessions.
• Prepare high-quality technical proposals, Bills of Materials (BOM), Statements of Work (SOW), implementation scope, technical specifications, and responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Position and articulate the value proposition of Juniper Networks, HPE Aruba Networking, and partner technologies against competing solutions.
• Work closely with the Sales team to develop technical strategies that maximize the likelihood of winning customer opportunities.

Solution Architecture & Design

• Produce High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), migration plans, implementation methodologies, and testing/acceptance procedures.
• Design highly available, scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise and service provider network infrastructures.
• Review customer environments and recommend architecture improvements, modernization strategies, and technology roadmaps.
• Ensure all solution designs adhere to industry best practices, customer standards, and vendor design guidelines.

Project Transition & Technical Governance

• Act as the technical owner throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring continuity from pre-sales to project delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive solution handover sessions to the Professional Services and Post-Sales Implementation teams, ensuring a complete understanding of the solution architecture, implementation methodology, assumptions, dependencies, and customer expectations.
• Support project kick-off meetings and provide technical clarification during implementation when required.
• Review implementation plans and validates that deployed solutions align with the approved architecture and design intent.
• Provide technical governance and design assurance throughout project execution, assisting with complex technical issues or design changes.

Professional Services & Implementation

• Lead or participate in the deployment, migration, integration, and commissioning of enterprise and service provider networking and security solutions for strategic or technically complex projects.
• Perform advanced configuration, testing, troubleshooting, optimisation, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Support customer acceptance testing and project sign-off activities.
• Mentor post-sales engineers on new technologies and complex solution deployments where appropriate.

Technical Leadership

• Maintain deep technical knowledge of Juniper Networks solutions, including enterprise networking, data centre networking, routing, switching, AI-driven networking, network security, automation, and cloud networking.
• Maintain a working knowledge of HPE Aruba Networking solutions, particularly campus networking, wireless LAN, ClearPass, Aruba Central, SD-Branch, and network access technologies.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend new solution offerings to strengthen the company's portfolio.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, design templates, implementation standards, and best practices.
• Deliver internal technical enablement sessions and mentor junior engineers.

Customer Success

• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers by providing strategic technical guidance beyond individual projects.
• Support escalated Level 3 technical issues involving complex architecture or design challenges.
• Identify opportunities for network optimisation, lifecycle refresh, cybersecurity enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements:

Education, Experience & Certification Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in network solution architecture, technical consulting, and enterprise or service provider networking.
• Proven experience in both technical pre-sales and post-sales solution delivery.
• Demonstrated success designing and deploying medium to large-scale enterprise and/or service provider network infrastructures.
• Experience leading customer technical workshops, preparing solution proposals, conducting PoCs, and supporting complex bids.
• Experience coordinating solution handover and working closely with project delivery teams throughout implementation.

Technical Competencies

Candidates should possess strong hands-on knowledge in:

• IP Routing (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS)
• Ethernet Switching (Layer 2/Layer 3)
• EVPN-VXLAN and Data Centre Fabrics
• Enterprise LAN/WLAN
• Firewalls, IPSec VPN, Network Security and Zero Trust
• SD-WAN and WAN technologies
• IPv4/IPv6
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Network Automation (Python, Ansible, REST APIs) is an advantage

Preferred Certifications

Juniper Networks certifications are highly preferred, including:

• JNCIP-ENT, JNCIP-SP, or JNCIP-SEC (minimum preferred)
• JNCIE-ENT, JNCIE-SP, or JNCIE-SEC (highly desirable)

HPE Aruba Networking certifications such as:

• Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP)
• Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP)
• Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDX) or equivalent

Equivalent expert-level certifications from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, or other leading networking vendors will also be considered.
