Job Description
The EUC Engineer is a member of SIA Group's IT Infrastructure team, responsible for the delivery, administration, and continuous improvement of End-User Computing services. The role drives the adoption of AI-driven solutions and automation to maintain a secure, efficient, and future-ready IT environment for all end users across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
EUC Project Management and Delivery
- Plan, manage, and deliver EUC projects in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, on time and within budget.
- Integrate AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, eliminate manual tasks, and improve operational efficiency.
Microsoft Technologies Administration
- Administer, maintain, and optimise Microsoft technologies including Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365.
- Design and implement automated workflows covering user provisioning, patch management, software distribution, and compliance monitoring.
Technical Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve complex EUC issues, utilising AI-powered diagnostic tools to minimise user downtime.
- Apply predictive analytics to proactively identify recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
Technical Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
- Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Leverage AI-based knowledge management tools to ensure consistency and currency of all documentation.
IT Service Delivery and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with IT team members and business stakeholders to ensure seamless and reliable IT service delivery.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate requirements, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
Emerging Technologies and Innovation
- Monitor industry trends in AI, automation, and EUC, and assess their applicability to the organisation's IT operations.
- Champion the adoption of AI and machine learning solutions to deliver measurable improvements to IT service quality.
Requirements
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an EUC Engineer or IT Infrastructure role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft technologies: Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Intune.
- Proven experience in end-user device management, automated workflow development, and compliance enforcement.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex EUC and infrastructure issues.
Preferred
- Industry certifications: MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, AWS, or ITIL.
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure disciplines including networking, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and information security.
- Certifications in AI, machine learning, or automation frameworks (e.g., Microsoft AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning, UiPath).
- Experience with AI-powered diagnostic tools, predictive analytics, or machine learning in an IT operations context.
