Summary

To ensure efficient, safe, and timely coordination of all port operations, including cargo handling, vessel berthing, documentation, and compliance with port regulations. The Port Operation Executive acts as the key liaison between shipping agents, port authorities, logistics teams, and terminal staff.

Key Responsibilities

§ Coordinate daily operations for vessel arrivals, cargo loading/unloading, and equipment handling.

§ Monitor vessel schedules, berthing plans, and cargo movement to avoid delays and maximize efficiency.

§ Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, port authorities, customs, and other relevant stakeholders.

§ Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and environmental regulations at the port.

§ Supervise cargo documentation, manifest verification, and ensure all records are accurately maintained.

§ Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.

§ Monitor performance metrics such as turnaround time, cargo dwell time, and port productivity.

§ Prepare operational reports and updates for management review.

§ Assist in planning and executing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance port operations.

Maintain effective communication with terminal operators, trucking companies, and warehouse staff.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
