As we scale our platform across markets, we are looking for an Engineering Manager / Senior Manager to own the day-to-day execution, delivery, and people development within the engineering team. This role exists to ensure the team builds the right things, the right way, fast enough to compete.

The Engineering Manager is both a technical lead and a people leader. You set the standard for your team, ensure delivery is on track, and develop engineers into high performers.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and execution within your engineering squad - quality, speed, and reliability
• Set and maintain engineering standards - code quality, testing, and best practices
• Lead, coach, and develop engineers - build a team that performs without being managed
• Drive technical decisions at the squad level - balance speed, quality, and maintainability
• Identify and resolve blockers, technical debt, and risks before they slow the team down
• Align squad capacity and priorities with product and business goals
• Build a high-performance team culture - high standards, fast delivery, continuous learning
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and project to ensure smooth execution

Requirements

• 8+ years in engineering, with at least 4 years in a team lead or management role
• Hands-on background - has built and shipped products, not just managed engineers
• Proven experience developing and growing engineering teams
• Strong technical knowledge across backend, frontend, or full-stack
• Able to translate technical complexity into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders
• High standards - sets the bar and holds the team to it

Note: This is a full-time job. Concurrent freelance, part-time, consulting is not permitted
