Job Summary

Manage company financial operations through accurate financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and strategic financial planning to support business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts to provide accurate financial insights.
• Analyze market trends and business performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
• Manage and oversee departmental budgets, establish budget guidelines, and monitor financial operations including payroll, invoicing, and cash flow.
• Advise management and executives on financial decisions to optimize profitability and formulate strategic, long-term business plans.
• Minimize financial risk by ensuring legal compliance and liaising with external parties such as auditors, bankers, and tax authorities.
• Supervise and manage finance department staff, including accountants and financial analysts, to ensure effective team performance.

Required competencies and certifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
• Technical proficiency in financial software and accounting systems, including advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Communication skills to clearly present financial reports and insights to management.
• Commercial awareness to understand business growth, efficiency, and profitability drivers.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
