Finance Executive | General Ledger & Financial Reporting

Join a dynamic finance team and play a key role in supporting accurate financial reporting, accounting operations, and process improvements. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with numbers, driving operational excellence, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the finance team in managing daily accounting activities, month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review and ensure accuracy of financial records, balance sheet accounts, and reporting deliverables.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end audit schedules and financial reporting packages.
• Review internal charge requests, reclassification entries, and accounting adjustments.
• Perform bank reconciliation reviews and follow up on outstanding reconciling items.
• Review miscellaneous receipts and investigate unresolved transactions.
• Address finance-related queries from internal stakeholders and provide timely resolutions.
• Support GST submissions, statistical reporting, and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors on audit-related matters.
• Work closely with tax advisors on corporate tax and GST-related activities.
• Collaborate with Grants and Intercompany General Ledger teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Identify opportunities and participate in finance process improvement initiatives.
• Handle ad hoc finance projects and assignments as required.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Relevant experience in general ledger, financial reporting, or accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of month-end closing and reconciliation processes.
• Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
