Hiring: Business Analyst – General Insurance

Location- KL

Mode- Renewable contract yearly

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in enhancing General Insurance core systems and processes. If you enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology, this could be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing:

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements (As-Is to To-Be processes) aligned with GI core systems

• Perform fit-gap analysis to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

• Facilitate solution design discussions with stakeholders and implementation teams

• Drive end-to-end functional specifications, system integration, and user acceptance

• Act as System Owner for assigned applications, managing roadmap and change backlog

• Lead release planning and prioritize requirements based on business value and regulatory needs

• Support UAT/SIT, manage defects, and provide functional guidance to development teams

• Prepare business cases, user guides, and training materials

• Work closely with Risk & Compliance to ensure regulatory alignment

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in a BA role

• Strong understanding of GI systems and operational processes

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lead discussions, manage conflicts, and drive outcomes

• Proactive, accountable, and adaptable mindset

• Able to work full-time from office
