Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for managing and executing tests within the assigned analytical scope in accordance with approved procedures and standards

2. Supervise and provide guidance to a team of laboratory personnel to ensure efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and timely delivery of results.

3. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-sensitivity analytical instruments (e.g., GC-MS, ICP-MS, HPLC) to ensure accurate and reliable test outcomes.

4. Work closely with the R&D team on extension scope projects, including method development, feasibility studies, and technical evaluation of new testing parameters.

5. Assist QA/QC chemists in the validation of existing methods and the calculation and verification of measurement uncertainty in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

6. Ensure all activities are properly documented and aligned with regulatory, quality, and accreditation requirements.

7. Undertake training for implementation of new procedures and protocols.

Requirement

1. Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Food Science, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry or related science fields

2. Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply

3. Confident and comfortable communicating with customer

4. Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
