Account Clerk – Job Description

  • Handle daily accounting and administrative tasks
  • Prepare invoices, receipts and payment documents
  • Record daily sales and purchases
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Check and verify invoices and documents
  • Perform data entry and maintain proper records
  • Assist with bank reconciliation and monthly accounts
  • Follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents
  • Assist the accountant with other accounting duties when required

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM / Diploma in Accounting or related field
  • Basic knowledge of accounting
  • Computer literate, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Careful, responsible and detail-oriented
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in accounting software is an advantage

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
