Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end finance operations, including AP, AR, GL, month-end/year-end closing and financial reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and management reports, including variance analysis, board reporting and financial insights for leadership.
• Manage treasury and cash flow across both fiat and digital assets, including working capital and crypto holdings.
• Oversee tax, statutory compliance and audits, while coordinating with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and other external advisors.
• Manage Web3 and crypto accounting, including DeFi investments, staking, liquidity pools, lending/borrowing, valuations and realised/unrealised gains or losses.
• Oversee crypto treasury and wallet operations, including hot/cold wallets, multi-signature controls, crypto payments, gas fees and crypto-to-fiat conversions.
• Build and strengthen finance controls and processes, including SOPs, approval workflows, custody controls, access management and segregation of duties.
• Partner closely with founders and leadership on financial modelling, scenario analysis, business cases, investment evaluation and finance transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on exposure to Web3, crypto or digital asset accounting.
• Strong technical accounting and finance foundation, covering full-set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, audit, taxation and internal controls; professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIMA is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of blockchain, DeFi and crypto operations, including wallet management, multi-signature controls, staking, liquidity pools, digital asset valuation and crypto transaction accounting.
• Strong ownership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate independently, build finance processes from the ground up and work closely with founders, auditors and external partners.
