Job Description
- Develop and implement embedded software solutions using C++ for industrial applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Perform software debugging, troubleshooting, and optimisation to ensure reliability and performance.
- Maintain and enhance existing software systems to meet evolving project needs.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of software to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document software designs, processes, and best practices for future reference.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards.
- Support hardware integration and system-level testing as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Software Engineer (Embedded C++) should have:
- A strong foundation in C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
- Experience with embedded systems and MCU/MPU architectures (ARM, RISC-V, etc.).
- Familiarity with hardware communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN Bus, and EtherCAT.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.
- Knowledge of hardware-software integration processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
