Role Description The Warehouse Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Alor Setar. The Warehouse Assistant will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, checking, and organizing incoming goods, and preparing orders for outbound delivery. Responsibilities include packing and labeling items accurately, assisting with inventory counting and stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. The role may involve operating warehouse equipment, supporting loading and unloading activities, and coordinating with supervisors and drivers to ensure timely dispatch of goods. The Warehouse Assistant will also handle basic documentation, follow standard operating procedures, and provide courteous support to internal teams and external partners as needed.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess packing skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and secure handling of goods.
• Candidates should possess inventory management and inventory control skills to maintain accurate stock levels and records.
• Candidates should possess forklift operation or general warehouse equipment handling skills, with appropriate certifications where required.
• Candidates should possess customer service skills to interact professionally with team members, drivers, and partners.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use warehouse management or scanning systems is beneficial.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods, following safety guidelines.
• Strong reliability, time management, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or FMCG operations is an advantage; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
