Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities with a focus on cost estimation and analysis. Prepares accurate quotations, evaluates manufacturing feasibility, and ensures smooth project transition from prototype to mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimations for new RFQs, covering material, machining, tooling, and labor.
- Review drawings and BOMs to identify cost drivers and manufacturing feasibility.
- Work closely with sourcing, production, and program teams for cost validation.
- Support NPI project execution and ensure timely delivery of samples and documentation.
- Monitor cost variance and recommend cost improvement actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in costing, NPI, or process engineering (preferably in precision manufacturing).
- Able to read technical drawings and understand manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
