We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the execution of our infrastructure and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value projects and collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders from project initiation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of construction projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Lead project meetings and prepare progress reports for management and clients.
• Review technical submissions, construction methodologies, and project documentation.
• Manage variations, claims, and commercial matters where required.
• Lead and mentor the project team to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years managing sizable infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, contract administration, budgeting, and risk management.
• Familiarity with Malaysian construction regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, or equivalent project management software.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following sectors will be an advantage:

• Power generation and transmission
• Renewable energy
• High Voltage (HV/MV) electrical projects
• Industrial plants
• Utilities
• Oil & Gas
